Imagine That! is Liverpool's Science and Discovery Centre for children. Imagination play, arts and crafts, outdoor activities and hands-on science shows and workshops to engage and excite families of children up to 10 years of age.
A unique science and discovery centre packed with science activities, art and craft workshops and activities to stimulate little minds.
Fun Furniture Collection have been fortunate enough to work with Imagine That! to help create a few of their areas within their play and science experience. It's a lot more than a play centre. The children learn though interactive play. There are 6 areas at Imagine That! - Science area, Imagination Village, Construction area, Art Area, Slime Factory and Fun Outdoors.
Science area
Our Bright Sparks science zone is packed with interactive exhibits ...experiment with wind, electricity, magnets and light. From our giant scarf blower to bicycle generator, from giant bubbles to flash shadows and those inquisitive minds will be amazed by our giant rod light wall and 5 metre interactive ball wall.
Feeling brave? Then head over to the water area.Turn the the pumps, fill the buckets and have a splashing good time in our water area.
Be warned...there’s a good chance you’ll get wet and an outside chance you’ll get soaked!
Imagination Village
Spend the day wandering around the various shops. Whether you prefer to be a customer or assistant there’s a role for everybody in the Imagination Village...start you journey at the pedestrian crossing then enter a world of imagination. You will find Fun Furniture Collection's AEC Tipper and Fire Engine with ladder in this area, transformed with interactive buttons to have lots of fun. Don't forget your green cross code when crossing the road!
Construction Area
Budding engineers can show off their construction skills
Put on your hard hats and hi-viz vests and get to work in our construction site...there’s a busy project underway and we are looking for builders to push wheelbarrows, operate cranes and use the pulleys and conveyor belts to move the bricks Not far away is our sand area with diggers and other construction tools...but be careful not to disturb the dinosaur bones hidden in the ground!.
Art Area
Artbeatz: our home to Alternative Art
We are simply loving our new look Atrbeatz Art area....a zone for artists of all tastes from traditional painting to digital graffiti and everything in between!
Slime Factory
Slime and bath bomb heaven!
Welcome to Slime Factory, home of our amazing slime and bath bomb workshops.... learns our tricks of the trade and create the gooiest slime and lushest bath bombs in Liverpool!! Then package everything up ready to take home.
Fun Outdoors
Take aim at the giant dinosaurs with our catapult or hunt for fossils in the sandpits...or if you're feeling more physical, put yourself to the test on our Builders' Bootcamp. Outdoor area is open whenever the weather is nice. You will also find our Land Rover 90 customised in the NEW Dino Dig Area for your 4x4 adventures. The Dino's are hatching in the outdoor dig area ready for you to find.
